Voting hours extended in three Ontario ridings

Elections Ontario has extended voting hours in three ridings, citing  “minor delays.”

Voters in Kenora-Rainy River will have an extra hour to cast their ballots at the Mitaanjigamiing First Nation and the Naicatchewenin First Nation band offices. Media reports say flooding washed out some roads in the area.

Three polling stations in Toronto’s Trinity-Spadina district will stay open until 9:30 p.m. Affected polls are at Fly Condominium, Lumiere Condominium on Bay and at Leonardo Court.

Meanwhile,  five polling stations at the Margaret Dunn Library in Dufferin-Caledon will also remain open until 9:30 p.m.

On Election Day, polling hours usually run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (ET).
